NTS S.p.A. (250 employees, global 2023 sales round 25 M€) was founded in the 1959 as a small craft business constructing moulds. Around the middle of the 1970s the company added a division for the moulding and compression of thermosetting materials by primarily using masses and preimpregnated elements in polyester or vynilester (BMC and SMC) that were just starting to appear on the market at that time. The use of these new materials soon proved to be ideal for applications in the electromechanical sector, but also for appliances, lighting fixtures and the automotive sector.

During the years NTS continued to specialize in the use of technical plastic compound, both thermoplastic and thermoset. The continuous contribution of new technologies in mould construction and plastic processing enabled the company to gain extraordinary skills on the transformation of a wide range of plastic materials to use in the production of technical products, and offer its customers additional services such as co-design and consulting NTS-Tech & NTS-Academy. NTS invests significant resources in R&D activities, around 5% of sales turnover, in order to increase innovation and sustainability on the processes and on the products.

NTS headquarter is located in Lallio, Bergamo: an area of 20000 m2 which includes offices, design, production departments by compression and injection molding and warehouses. The various departments are positioned in such a way as to facilitate logistic and production flows, ensuring process efficacy and efficiency. A second plant is located in Arad, Romania, an area of about 4000 m2 , involved in the compression moulding of thermosetting materials and part assembly operations.

NTS participate in the United Nations Global Compact, a strategic corporate citizenship initiative developed to create a sustainable global economy that respects human rights and takes a strong stance against corruption, and all with a focus on universal, social and environmental matters.
