FONDAZIONE POLITECNICO DI MILANO (FPM)

Fondazione Politecnico di Milano is a university foundation, established in 2003 at the behest of Politecnico di Milano, together with Milan’s main institutions and the regional government of Lombardy, with the support of several important business companies. The Foundation aims to strengthen and promote high quality research, knowledge and technology transfer and education/training. FPM has an extensive experience in project management, at local, European and international levels. It regularly designs, develops and leads to conclusion multidisciplinary research and innovation projects together with companies, public authorities and research centers, in many of the areas of competence of Politecnico di Milano. The Foundation also encourages technological innovation and competitiveness in business, carries out initiatives of social responsibility and organizes networking activities. It also supports business creation and startups growth through the management of the University incubator PoliHub.

ROLE IN THE PROJECT

Fondazione Politecnico di Milano participates in DeremCo as affiliated entity to Politecnico di Milano.

It is involved in project management activities (WP1), in communication and dissemination activities (WP5) and management of the open calls (in particular for impact monitoring and assessment) (WP7).
