DeremCo participated in "A Circular Future with Plastics Fostering EU Project Synergies" event in Lyon, France, on September 12th, 2024. This event, organized by the INCIRCULAR project, bring together SMEs and professionals in the plastics sector for a day of innovation, networking, and learning.

The main aim of INCIRCULAR, co-funded by the European Union’s Interregional Innovation Investments (i3) instrument, is to enhance collaboration within the recycled plastics industry sector, with the objective of improving its capabilities and promote the transformation of recycled plastics into new materials through the adoption of innovative technologies.

The event held in Lyon was composed by panel discussions focusing on the broader challenges in the plastics sector, as well as the unique challenges and innovative solutions that “sister” and similar projects are developing. The meeting had also the aim of fostering synergies and enhance the collective impact in transitioning to a more circular plastics economy.

The event is considered a unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, share insights, and collaborate to shape the future of plastics. The other European Projects presented:
