DeremCo at Milan Design Week
DeremCo at Milan Design Week
For Milan Design Week 2025 from the 7th of April to 13th of April, DeremCo will showcase the results of its work through an immersive and circular installation curated by Origoni Steiner, a design studio with extensive experience in exhibition, graphic, product, and interior design.
The exhibition, spanning 240 m² on the ground floor of BASE, located on Via Bergognone, employs sustainable materials and is designed to deliver a striking visual, sensory, and educational impact. Its objective is to present the entire industrial process chain developed by the DeremCo Consortium and the resulting products.
At the entrance, visitors are welcomed by an introductory video and a striking installation. End-of-life materials, stacked as if in a landfill, prompt visitors to confront the challenge of managing post-use products—not merely as waste but as potential sources of high-quality secondary raw materials.

The journey continues with an in-depth presentation of the solutions developed by DeremCo. Within a space defined by colored, semi-transparent panels, the 14 industrial Demo cases and prototypes offer tangible proof of the innovative technologies developed by the Consortium.
A wide range of industries is involved: automotive, aerospace, energy, sports, construction, and furniture.
Thanks to the innovative processes pioneered by DeremCo, materials sourced from decommissioned wind turbine blades, electrical and electronic assembly components, interior and exterior cladding elements, and automotive components are transformed into seats, furnishings, lamps, skis, agricultural machinery protections, camper shelving, packaging, car pedals, and more.
Each prototype serves as an ambassador of this expertise, encouraging the audience to reflect on the potential of these materials and demonstrating the efficiency of the two main processes developed by DeremCo to achieve these results.
In line with the systemic and circular vision, visitors will “close the loop” at the end of their tour by passing again through the waste zone, the origin of all these processes.
At the event's conclusion, the entire exhibition setup will also be recycled. The structural profiles, once dismantled, can be reused multiple times before reaching the end of their life and being 100% recycled. The panels, specially produced by the Consortium, will be reprocessed using DeremCo's experimental technologies to create new semi-finished materials ready for use in new products.
Through its installation at Milan Design Week, DeremCo aims to generate a positive impact on a local and interregional scale, bringing environmental, industrial, social, and consumer benefits across Europe.
See you From 7th to 13th of April at BASE Via Bergognone, Ground Floor.
