DEREMCO SECOND OPEN CALL

THE SECOND OPEN CALL
The DeremCo 2st Open Call seeks to back projects that offer innovative solutions aligned with DeremCo's overarching goals and demonstrate a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL>7). Projects deviating from DeremCo's objectives or exhibiting a low TRL will not be eligible for consideration.
Organisations who have already received funding from the 1st Open Call will not be considered as eligible.
Beneficiaries of the 2nd Open Call are SMEs participating individually or in small consortia (maximum 3 SMEs) with legal headquarters or operative offices in one of the following EU regions and countries:
Austria: Carinthia, Upper, Lower Austria
Belgium: Flanders
Finland: Länsi-Suomi
Italy: Lombardy, Lazio and Umbria
Slovenia: Estern and Western Slovenia
Spain: Basque Country
Portugal: Centro

DownloadWHAT PROJECTS CAN BE FUNDED?
The project should specifically target one of the three main areas: advancement materials treatment (input), process improvement (process), or development of novel solutions for various applications (output).

1. INPUT
Developments in new or enhanced materials eligible for treatment using DeremCo technologies encompass a diverse range, such as:
- Polyamide (PA)
- Recycled glass fiber mat (rGF matt)
- Technical fibers including glass, carbon, and aramid
- Carbon fiber
- Components fabricated with polyester resin filled with long glass fiber
- Natural fiber composite
2. PROCESSES
Complementary technologies, integrating IT solutions, play a pivotal role in the DeremCo project. Targeting specific segments of the process for enhancement, including:
- Waste processing and preparation for recycling
- Reprocessing processes
- Injection molding
- Mixing technology
- RTM/Vacuum Infusion/Closed Molding Processes
- rCF yarn
- Weaving
- Compounding methods
- Plasticization processes
3. OUTPUT
Innovative products leveraging DeremCo materials are poised to make significant strides across various sectors, including:
- High-performance products (mechanical, thermal, etc.)
- Furniture sector (both private and public)
- Exhibit and retail sector
- Caravaning industry
- Building and construction sector
- Outdoor furniture
Identified as the most promising avenues for implementing these novel solutions are sectors such as:
- Nautical industry
- Furniture manufacturing
- Automotive sector
- Medical field
- Electromechanical applications
- Construction industry

FUNDING DETAILS
Maximum grant amount per project: €60,000 per legal entity, allowing up to €120,000 for a consortium of two applicants and €180,000 for three applicants.
Funding rate: Project costs are fully funded by the FSTP, with 70% covered by EU financing and the remaining 30% through co-funding by DeremCo partners.
Funding scheme: Implemented as Lump Sum funding, simplifying processes and focusing monitoring on achieving expected results and successful project implementation rather than detailed cost reporting.
